On behalf of the GFOA-PA State Board of Directors, please join us for the 2021 Annual Conference, September 26 – 29, 2021.
The Conference Committee is working to plan for a very qualified and knowledgeable list of presenters who will assist you in meeting your challenges in government finance. This year’s conference maintains the high level of education and networking that participants have come to expect, while adding new topics to vary your experience.
The schedule will list inspiring keynote speakers, national and local experts in the field, and networking for continued learning. There will be sessions for both the experienced and new directors. Throughout the conference you will continue to learn and connect with old, and new friends.
Also, please plan to join your colleagues for a fun afternoon at the golf outing. Experience superb golf greens at the Mountain View Country Club, nestled among the hills, offering panoramic views of Tussey Mountain. Registration includes a boxed lunch and prizes will be awarded for different categories. The golf outing registration costs are $75.00 per person.

$132 per room for single/double occupancy plus tax
Cut-off date for GFOA PA discounted hotel rate is Monday, September 6, 2021. Room availability and rates cannot be guaranteed after this date. Please secure your room as soon as possible.
*Important Note: Due to this being a PSU football weekend, rooms will not be available Friday or Saturday evening. All rooms are available for arrival on Sunday.

Safety Guidelines
We are looking forward to seeing everyone in person and are committed to ensuring the safety of all GFOA-PA Conference attendees. A number of onsite safety protocols may be in place in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We will also continue to monitor CDC, state, and local guidelines to adhere to any changes for onsite conference safety.
Protocols for the 2021 Conference
• Attendees and staff must comply with recommendations from health officials and the Penn Stater Hotel. With the evolving nature of the current environment, decisions are fluid, and we ask that you plan for current protocols and for any future protocols.
• By registering to attend as an in-person attendee, you agree to comply with any protocols established by the Penn Stater Hotel, GFOA-PA and all health officials. Attendees will be notified of specific health and safety measures prior to the first day of the Conference.
Cancellations and Refunds
- All cancellation requests must be made in writing. Requests prior to August 1st will receive a refund minus a $50 admin fee. After that date, no refunds can be made.
